What is a Clemente Course?

The Clemente Course teaches the humanities at the college level to people living in economic distress. The course is free, including all books, lessons, and field trips. Technology scholarships are available. College professors teach literature, history, art history, philosophy, critical thinking, and writing. The next class will begin on January 24, 2022 and run through May 25. Students will earn three transferable college credits upon completing the course.

Lively discussion of great texts, art, and ideas!

Class meets twice a week online.

Who?

Adults  living in the greater Savannah area who have been living in economic distress and are ready to take charge of their lives through increased cultural literacy.

When?

Mondays and Wednesdays, 5:30-7:30pm

January 24 - May 25 with 1 week of Spring Break

Where?

Online only + optional in person field trips & outdoor events
