What is a Clemente Course?

The Clemente Course teaches the humanities at the college level to people living in economic distress. The course is free, including books and lessons. College professors teach literature, history, art history, philosophy, critical thinking, and writing. The course will begin in late summer 2021 and run for 14 weeks. Students will earn college credit upon completing the one semester course. 

What?

Two classes each week - taught online during the Coronavirus pandemic.

Who?

Adults  living in the greater Savannah area who have been living in economic distress and are ready to take charge of their lives through increased cultural literacy.

When?

Evenings starting late summer, 2021 (Final dates TBD)

Where?
